Anthony & Sara

Hello! Thank you for reading our profile! We are a loving couple looking to expand our family and share our home and our love. We have come to a point in our lives where we are stable emotionally, financially, and physically, and we would be blessed if you would consider us to be your child's parents.

About Us

Associate Professor of Math
Owner - Baking Company
Ph.D. in Mathematics
Bachelor's Degree in Sociology - Criminal Justice
Legally Married

Our Leisure Time

At a Hockey Game

In our leisure time, together we enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing secret shopping assignments, playing board games and card games, going to see movies at the theater - usually comedies/action/romance/Disney (and popcorn is a must), traveling, taking walks together, going out for dinners, and playing with our cats.

Sara enjoys quilting, sewing, reading (romance is her favorite genre), getting manicures/pedicures, hanging out with the girls, cooking, and baking. She owns her own baking company that specializes in homemade cookies made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Additionally, she enjoys volunteering at our local police department, working in the office.

Anthony enjoys learning new things, hanging out with the guys, reading (Dan Brown is his favorite author), playing video games, watching game shows (both past and present), watching late night comedy shows and getting massages. Additionally, he enjoys doing research for both work and pleasure - especially about the history of gambling and board games, including the probability and statistics of winning.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other

Out for Valentine's Day

Sara About Anthony: Anthony is an amazing person. He is full of life, love and laughter. He has done stand up comedy in the past and makes it his mission to always make people laugh, even if he has just met them. Also, Anthony has done storytelling, and the rooms have been so interested in his stories, that you could hear a pin drop. He just draws people in and keeps their attentions. Additionally, Anthony is a great listener, great at giving sound advice, and is super dependable. If Anthony doesn't know something, he immediately goes looking for the answer and will not rest until he finds it. Learning something new every day excites him. For those reasons, he makes an amazing professor. His students love and admire him. Sometimes students even seek out which classes he teaches every semester to make sure they can have him as a professor multiple times.

Anthony About Sara: Sara is someone who has a great sense of humor, but, above all else, is compassionate towards others. She goes out of her way to help others, including volunteering with the local police station, and to help her friends at any time, even if it's last minute. She is also interested in what people have to say; she doesn't just want to know how your day went, but what you're going to do tomorrow and how you feel.

Fun Facts About Us:

  • Anthony has been on Wheel of Fortune and The Chase (both TV game shows) and aspires to be on additional game shows.
  • Anthony graduated from college a year early and is the youngest professor in his department.
  • Sara was a very serious swimmer and on multiple different swim teams throughout her life.
  • Anthony is vegetarian, but he could never give up his pizza or mac and cheese.
  • Sara loves cars and learning all about them, even teaching Anthony a few things!
  • Sara loves all animals, no matter how big or small. If Sara had her way, she would adopt as many animals as she possibly could.
  • Sara despises her middle name. She promised her mother that she would have her full name used at her college graduation and her wedding. Most people don't know anything other than her middle name stars with a J.

    Our House and Neighborhood

    Our Home

We love our home and cannot wait to share it with a child! We have a two-story open concept home with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. We also have the option to finish the basement to add an additional bathroom and extra living space.

We live in a very active outdoorsy neighborhood. There are walking paths, bike paths, and multiple football fields, soccer fields and parks within walking distance of our home that almost always have kids playing at them.

Our subdivision has an annual block party, Easter Egg hunt, and is always one of the busiest subdivisions to visit while the kids are out trick-or-treating. Almost all the homes in our subdivision either have young kids or have young grand children who are usually out playing in the yards or in the common area. Everyone is super friendly. There are also multiple families who have adopted children through the years.

Our community is super supportive of families. There are open markets on different days of the week year round and a street festival in September. Our neighboring towns have different street fests, carnivals, and markets year round.

    Our Extended Families

    Sara's Family

Sara has one older sister who is two years older than her. Heather is married and has two boys. We enjoy seeing them for holidays and love to spend time with our nephews. Sara's parents live about 45 minutes away and come visit a few times a month. We also get together to celebrate birthdays and Mother's/Father's Day by taking them out to our favorite deep dish pizza restaurant where we sit and talk and laugh while eating lots of pizza. Sara's family is excited and looking forward to welcoming another child into the family. They are looking forward to teaching another child everything they know and watching as that child grows up to be an amazing person.

    Anthony's Family

Anthony's family lives about 10 minutes away and includes his parents and two younger brothers. His brothers come over about once a month for a game or movie night, and his extended family (aunts, uncles, and cousins) host major family get-togethers for holidays. We always celebrate Christmas Day with his large, loud extended family and include the yearly tradition of team Trivial Pursuit. His family was very excited to know that another child would be joining the family soon and were nothing but happy for us.

    From Us to You

Thank you and we feel so blessed that you are taking time to even look at our profile. We want to be as open and honest as we possibly can be and we hope that we answer any questions that you may have about us and truly give you a peek into who we are.

We met in November of 2010 through an online website. We messaged through the system for a couple of days, then spoke on the phone for a few more days. After that, we went out on our first date. Ever since our first date, we've been inseparable for the most part. We constantly are cracking jokes (even if they are corny) just to make each other laugh. We enjoy spending our spare time playing board games, video games, cooking, baking, and doing crafts. We also like playing with our pet cats, going for walks, and spending time with our families. Additionally, we enjoy relaxing together, going to see movies, and going on our weekly date nights. We have been happily married since March 2015 and, although we have had our ups and downs, we are still deeply in love with each other.

Anthony is a college math professor. He really enjoys teaching his students. His favorite part of his job is when the hypothetical "light bulb" goes on and he gets to see a student get excited about learning math. He has been at his current university for almost 10 years.

Sara enjoys cooking and baking so much that she started her own baking company. She makes cookies, breads, chocolate covered pretzels, peanut brittle, and all kind of other treats. She mainly makes treats for birthday parties, realtors and businesses to pass out as treats for their customers. Sara is currently taking a Spanish class and volunteers at the local police department.

We are excitedly looking for a child to add to our happy family. We want to share our love and lives. We can't wait to hear the happy cries and the giggles, and receive the hugs and snuggles, of a beautiful baby. We look forward to helping the child meet their milestones and achieving their goals and dreams. We would love to take this child to zoos, parks, baseball games, hockey games, on vacations (Disney!), and show them all that the world has to offer. We have a whole neighborhood full of children who would love to have a new friend to join them. As school starts, this child will have familiar faces to attend preschool with, kindergarten and grade school with. We live within walking distance to the grade school and within a few minutes drive to the junior high school. The high school is also within a few minute drive. All three are the schools are rated among the top in the state and the high school is among the top in the nation. We look forward to helping the child learn new things from crawling, talking, and then walking and eventually math. Our families are also both extremely excited to have a new addition to our family and look forward to sharing their love with the child as well.

We would like to keep both of the birth parents in the child's life. We would be happy to have phone calls, do Facetime dates, share pictures, and, as the child grows older, we would love to share drawings and artwork with you. If your parents would like to stay in the child's life, we would be thrilled. We would love to visit you after the adoption so that you can see the child and the child can see you. Our view is that the more love that this child has, the healthier and happier they will be. We intend to start teaching this child about their birth parents from the very beginning. We are by nature very open and honest people. We never intend to hide anything about being adopted from this child.

We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have!
