John & Angeline

Thank you for considering us to be the adoptive parents for your child. We are Angeline and John and we live in a small suburb of Philadelphia. We have had the dream of having children for many years and made the decision to grow our family through adoption. We understand you have a difficult decision ahead of you and want you to know you will be in our thoughts as you go through this journey.

Our Dreams for This Child

With Our Goddaughter

To Our Child:

We think the best thing we can do for our child(ren) is to allow them to do things for themselves, allow them to be strong, and allow them to experience life on their own terms.

First, have integrity. Our hope is for our child to be honest and to have strong moral values. To have their own moral or ethical convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching you. Having integrity means you are true to yourself and would do nothing that demeans or dishonors you.

Second, to realize their potential. Every human being, regardless of race, sex, or any other characteristic, has the incredible capacity to realize their potential: to feel confident, joyful, and fulfilled.

Third, to achieve their goals. To accomplish something they set out to do.

Our dream is for our child to be happy, to have fun, and to be their own definition of successful. We want our child to enjoy social events, go to school, learn a trade, learn from us but most of all, feel loved and appreciated. The dream for our family is to provide unconditional love and support. To learn from each other and always continue to grow.

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other

LOVE Park, Philadelphia

Since meeting, our love for each other has grown on a daily basis. We both have strengths and weaknesses that we rely on each other to support.

John views Angeline as a loving and supportive wife who would do anything in her power for him. She has tremendous dedication to her family, friends, and pets that she holds dear to her heart. Angeline is selfless and cares for others before herself. Angeline is a good talker, better listener, and knows her way around a kitchen. John admires Angeline for keeping a full-time job, keeping the house running smooth, but still finding time for family and friends.

Angeline views John as a compassionate, adventurous, and intelligent husband. She admires his love for family, his service to our country, and his willingness to do his best at anything asked of him. She views John as dedicated and having a strong desire to succeed whether it be in work or personal life. Angeline loves that John is willing to taste-test her home-made recipes, she loves that he goes out of his way to help his mom, but he is always available for anything she needs.

We both have a mutual admiration for each other and believe we, as a family, can accomplish any goals we set forth to attain.

Our Life Priorities

Our number one priority in life is to start and have a happy family. We have tried conceiving for many years before the decision was made to adopt. Both of us come from large families with many children. We would love to be able to pass on our life experiences and what we learned to a child or children of our own.

We are both successful at our careers, advancing in our positions at work while gaining valuable knowledge. We feel that success starts in the home where values are formed and you are encouraged to do your best in all aspects in life.

We feel that good health is also a priority in our life. Whether it physical or mental, a healthy lifestyle will allow us to become better parents, pass on good qualities to our child, and teach them how to make educated choices and set attainable goals while pushing for success. We feel that this can be accomplished by being around a loving family, plenty of exercise and activities, learning and play, as well as eating healthy foods that will help stimulate growth and knowledge.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home During a Light Snowfall

We live in a small township in southeastern Pennsylvania that is approximately seven square miles with 17,000 residents. Our township has two public elementary schools, one of which is within walking distance, one public middle school, one public high school and several private schools. Our township holds a number of annual family events such as: Community Day, Fourth of July parade, Veterans Day parade, Pirate Festivals, Christmas parade (with Santa and Mrs. Claus), and a family friendly New Year's Eve ball drop.

We own a single family split-level home on a family friendly street. We have a kitchen, dining room, a formal and family living room, three bedrooms, a full attic, and two and a half bathrooms on a 1/4 acre lot with a fenced in yard and ground level deck. Angeline's favorite room in the house is the family room followed closely behind the kitchen. John's favorite is the family room.

Our neighborhood has much to offer such as three parks within walking distance, a local orchard with petting zoo that hosts various events throughout the year, and a six-mile walking/biking trail. Santa Claus rides down our street on firetrucks every year around Christmas time. We are a train ride or short driving distance away from Historic Philadelphia which includes museums, parks, and the Philadelphia Zoo - the oldest zoo in the United States. We are close proximity to sport stadiums, concert venues, and a fun day trip to the Jersey shore.

Our Extended Families

Angeline's Family

Angeline is the second of four children and the only daughter. She has three loving and supportive brothers who all grew up in a small suburb outside of Philadelphia in the house where her parents still live today. John is the oldest of three children having a sister and a brother. John grew up in Philadelphia and moved to the suburbs with his dad and step mom.

John's Family

Our families still live nearby and all enjoy spending the holidays together; we attend various birthdays, weddings, and other family celebrations. In addition to holidays, Angeline's childhood traditions consisted of family vacations to Disney World, Myrtle Beach and the Jersey shore. Angeline and her siblings were all involved in sports growing up where they learned the meaning of sportsmanship. Angeline and her siblings enjoy having conversations centered around movie and other famous quotes. John's childhood family traditions consisted of birthdays, camping, and family vacations. John has four nieces and nephews.

John's parents are retired and ready for the next grandchild to spoil. Angeline's mom works in medical billing, her dad is retired, and both are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first grandchild. When we announced our plans to adopt each of our families were overjoyed with excitement to welcome a new member to our family.

From Us to You

It is not easy to find the right words to convey our respect for the love and courage you have as you consider adoption for your child. We believe that such a decision can only be made out of love. We know this may be a difficult time in your life, and we are inspired by the strength, courage and love that you are showing by considering an adoption plan. We are here to support you, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have for us. Thank you for taking a moment to learn about us.

We are John and Angeline. We have been together for almost six years. Many people do not believe in love at first site but for us, it was. We are complete opposites yet perfect for each other. Angeline is outgoing where John is fairly shy. Angeline likes to cook where he rather stay as far away from the kitchen as he can. Angeline is out spoken where John is very quiet. Angeline likes to talk on the phone for hours, five minutes for him is too long.

We live in a diverse neighborhood in a great school district. We like to go on walks to the park with our dogs Patch and Abigail. Angeline cooks breakfast, lunch and a family dinner every night where we sit around the table and talk about the events of the day. We are a loving, intelligent and fun family. We have a great sense of humor and have a wonderful group of supportive friends. We are pet lovers.

Between the two of us, we come from a rather large family of five siblings, 45 first-cousins aging from age 10 through 50 years old, and 25 second-cousins aging from six months through 25 years. All members are very close and we communicate either in-person or via social media. They were ecstatic to learn of our plans to adopt and cannot wait for the announcement of our little one.

We love traveling to various locations around the United States. These could be to historic landmarks, beaches, mountains, or amusement parks. We love attending sporting events such as baseball, football, and hockey. When we are not traveling, we spend time at home with our pets playing fetch in the yard. It is fenced in but provides enough running space for the dogs to get a good workout. On occasion, our cat Dr. Jekyll attempts to break out to play with the dogs.

We understand that this is a very difficult time, and we understand the wide range of emotions that the adoption process makes birth families feel. We hope that we can embark on this journey together and assist in this process. We have learned that once you connect, start to talk, and get to know each other it gets a bit easier and the process starts to become more real and less scary.

We understand you may want to see your child grow and we plan to send letters and pictures. If you are open to it we will create an email address for additional communication.

In summation, we would like to thank you for considering our profile and learning more about us. We want to be as open and available as possible to answer any questions you may have. After reading about us, we hope you would consider us the best choice as adoptive parents for your child. We will do our best and will not let you down.

Thank You,

John & Angeline
